Through the Windshield: Unseen People in Big Cities from Ancient Rome to Cleveland
Through the Windshield: Unseen People in Big Cities from Ancient Rome to Cleveland
See, hear and come to know the many ordinary people who live out their lives unseen and unheard in big cities from ancient Rome to modern Cleveland. Tom Palaima and Paul Hay will voice sound images of Juvenal, Catullus, DeCapite, Fisher, Orwell, Dylan, Juke Boy Bonner, Terkel, James Brown and others.

If you would like to perform from a favorite story, poems, song lyrics or tell a story of your own, sad or happy, about ordinary people in a big city, please send your selection(s) to Tom Palaima by email at tpalaima@austin.utexas.edu by September 20.

DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF: Ray Tapajna (1932-2016), a holy man who worked tirelessly for the dignity of forgotten and unseen people of Cleveland.
